I’m hungry. I’m a girl. It’s for life.
I’m used to it.
I bake, I take pictures. Then, I blog about it.
Sometimes I cook food that isn’t built upon a foundation of butter and sugar.
Sometimes I craft and (try to) sew. Sometimes that may show up here, on this blog. I hope you don’t mind.
Before this blog, I really couldn’t bake. My skills were limited to box cakes and brownies.
Learning + Sugar = Fun. That’s truth.
Some facts about me. In case you wanted to know.
I live in Northern Nevada. It’s really close to Lake Tahoe–which is gorgeous and infinitely blue. I live in Michigan now! It’s really green here. My house is by some woods. There’s a lot of wildlife and insects. I have a treehouse in my yard. It’s pretty cool.
I was born in South Korea. We moved to the “States” when I was 1.5 years-old.
I wear shoes without socks as often as I can getaway with it.
I almost always wear my fave Chucks or Vans or flats.
Besides my insatiable desire for food–I also love hair/nails/make-up, great design, beautiful interiors, and general gorgeousness.
I’m kind of a book worm. I have a ton of books and not enough shelves.
I went to college, once upon a time, and got my BA in Writing. This blog isn’t the greatest example of that. Nerts.
I’m married to this guy I kind of love. His name is Sean, he’s pretty neat. He bakes bread and makes pasta and kills spiders for me. He also works an actual grown up job. I’m a lucky duck.
We have 2 dogs, Jezebel and Luxe. We make up voices for them. They have a lot of nicknames the begin with “Mister,” but they’re girls. We’re kind of weird that way.
I read the news every morning on my phone. It is literally the first thing I do.
I drink tea all the time. I have a particular fondness for green jasmine, chai, and anything that is spiced.
I also love coffee. LOVE it.
I love champagne, or anything a little bubbly and a little dry.
I hate raisins, it can’t be explained.
I’m turning 27 this year. I don’t think feeling like an adult will ever come.
In the early days I used a digital point and shoot of some sort. I can’t remember.
Currently, I shoot with a Canon Rebel XS. I primarily use a 50mm f 1.4 lens. I’m in love with it.
