I’m going to ramble here in the top before we get to the links. I apologize if you aren’t into that, just scroll on through!
First: I’ve been on the hunt for some new beauty products and I’d love to hear your go-to’s in the comments or just things you want to try/have your eye on. Specifically, I am looking at Cover FX Custom Color Drops and Too Faced Born This Way. I am also on the hunt for a daytime moisturizer that has a hydrating but light texture with an SPF. I just tried a sample of Paula’s Choice Resist Super-Light Wrinkle Defense (I watch a lot of Ashley’s videos and love her skincare recommendations, FWIW) and REALLY liked it, but I still want to know if you have suggestions.
Second: We’re attempting to make our bedroom a relaxing and adult space for the first time ever–meaning, not a hoarder’s hovel for laundry and piles of shoes. We have a LOT of gray and white happening, which we’ll keep because that’s we both like. But, as far as accents go, I’m embracing the color of the year, rose quartz, hard. I already loved it–pink is one of my favorite colors–and have several items in that hue. Now that it’s popping up all over the place I am vv happy. I do have a question, though, I want to trash our dressers (remnants from college) and do a closet system. It’s not in the budget to go custom, so does anyone have experience with the Ikea systems? Please tell!
Third: I’D EAT DAT!
Finally, if you got this far you deserve an award and that award should probably be delicious.
Peanut Butter “Cookie Dough” Bites–I have plans to make these for the fam this weekend for snacking throughout the week. I am really excited about it.
Mini Pimento Mac and Cheese Bites–HELL, YES. I want to make these and eat them all…but that would be dangerous and could happen b/c my child hates mac and cheese (wut)!
Vegetarian Swedish “Meat”balls–Yes, because mashed potatoes and tangy cranberry sauce and CREAM + mushroom gravy.
Toasted Coconut Baked Oatmeal–I have a thing for toasted coconut and we’ve been eating more oatmeal lately (health and stuff).
Easy Homemade Ramen with Mushrooms–I love a good ramen hack.
Buttermilk Cornbread–Erika’s honesty and perspective refreshes and inspires me to no end. Also, cornbread.
Iced Vovo Doughnuts–I don’t have any reference for VoVo’s but these are so pretty and I’d like a dozen to appear on my doorstep right meow.
Boozy Clementine Lemonade with Bruleed Citrus and Mint–because it’s Friday and we deserve a fancy as hell drink.
Toasted Coconut Creamsicle Smoothie–classic vanilla and orange flavors found in a creamsicle with toasted coconut and mango!
Gluten-Free Pretzel Goat Cheesecake Bites–sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy, tangy…basically a lot of good things in a petite package.
Over at Betty’s:
Skinny Key Lime Pie Magic Bars–a resolution friendly twist on magic bars with a bright pop of lime.
