Vanilla Berry Pinot Noir Slushies
Serves: serves 2-3
Bright berries, fragrant vanilla bean, and lush pinot noir in a boozy, icy, slush.
  • 1 bottle pinot noir
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen berries of you choice
  • 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  1. Pour the pinot noir into ice cube trays and freeze for several hours until firm.
  2. Once your pinot noir cubes are frozen, place 2 cups of the cubes into a high-powered blender, along with the berries, the scrapings from the vanilla bean, sugar, and lime juice. Blitz in the blender until smooth and well combined. Add a splash of water as needed to loosen up the mixture. Serve in glasses with additional berries and lime wedges for garnish.

Use any combination of berries you like! I used mostly boysenberries (type of blackberry hybrid) and a few strawberries here.

You won't need all the pinot noir cubes for this recipe, but you'll have leftovers to make another batch later!
