I’d Eat That

October 2, 2015 by Leave a Comment

This weekend I’m taking a toddler (whose eye-teeth are coming in) on a plane, solo, because I am 100% sane. It’s only an hour and a half, so I have that on my side. Side note: any parents have good child-friendly app recommendations for tablets?

Anyway, I’ll keep it short because most of this week was spent with my head down doing some work, negotiating with a very moody 14-month-old, and then going to the gym a couple times to get my behind handed to me. Not super interesting. So, let’s get to the food!

BLT Fried Rice–YES. So yes.

Fall Vegetable Fritto Misto with Ranch Dressing–nothing wrong with fried vegetables and ranch dip. Ever.

Vanilla Bean Cake–2 kewt.

Buffalo Cauliflower Sliders–these look amazing.

Vanilla Creme Brulee Macarons–any excuse to gt out the torch and burn some sugar.

Red Curry Shrimp Laksa–I want to dive headfirst into that bowl.

Matcha Panna Cotta & Black Sesame Tartlettes–so cute and cool I could just eat ’em.

Olive Oil Ice Cream Sundaes–dat skillet brownie.

One Bowl Brown Butter Buttermilk Cake–this looks like a space-unicorn cake and I’m way into it.

Chicken Fried Steak and Chantarelle Gravy Biscuits–there really are no words.

Vanilla Bean Haupia Coconut Pudding with Caramelized Plantains–coconut pudding, yes please.

Grapefruit and Lime-Grape Cooler with Mint–I never think of grapes in drinks, but now I will.

In case you missed them:

Mini Banana Donuts with Ganache & Peanuts

Creamy Squash Soup with Chorizo & Manchego

Happy weekend!

Good luck with the flight girl! Andy lives PBS Kids app and any Peek-a-Boo Barn or Sesame Street app. Casper will be able to manipulate the app because all you have to do is tap once to make a new animal appear. They are pretty cute. Lovely list as always! Happy weekend!

Those skillet brownies with olive oil ice cream!! That bowl of shrimp curry! So many good-looking links here! I say let’s skip the gym and just start cooking! 😉
