I am dreaming of white Christmas in a serious way. It’s not going to happen here and I know lots of places that typically have snow don’t have any (yet) this year, but I’ve been wistful for piles of snow covering everything. Sean thinks I’m insane, but I really actually like winter. I can hear the chorus of boo’s, but I can’t help it! Like, when it snows every sound is muted and it’s just kind of magical. Also, snow is basically nature’s glitter. MAGIC GUYS. Anyway, I’m a weirdo who misses snow.
If you need any last-minute kitchen/dining gifts Sarah created a Kitchen Lover’s Gift Guide over on Pinterest! I’ve been adding to it and there are a ton of things I’d love for myself. Bonus, everything is under $100.
Also, one quick, non-food link…this dollhouse!! If you follow Mandy on Instagram you’ve probably seen the progress, but it’s incredible. I loved dollhouses when I was little and I kind of want this one now. You know, to display in my house and decorate. Totally normal.
Salted Bacon Fat Ginger Molasses Cookies–speaking of Sarah, she made these and my brain basically exploded. I mean, what?! Yes.
Hot Buttered Rum Pound Cake–Michelle made this cake that has me literally dreaming about cake. Like, I need it ASAP. Also, it speaks of Harry Potter nerdage, so double love.
Hot Buttered Baba Au Rum–more hot buttered rum things! Maybe this is a sign that I need to drink more buttery-booze things.
Ombre Peppermint Slice and Bake Cookies–Stephanie seriously killed it with these cuties. I’m obsessed.
Thyme and Garlic Baked Camembert–when we host things snacks usually equal cheese. It’s easy and also delicious. This may be happening on Christmas.
Croque Monsieur Crostini–so clever! I always think a whole croque monsieur is a little much (Sean is scoffing at this statement, he highly disagrees). These little guys are perfect!
Gingersnap Chocolate Bark–cookies in a bark. OMG, yes.
Clover Club Cocktail–I wanna drink dat right meow.
Coconut Layer Cake–perfect. It’s basically the sugar and cake equivilant of snow and you know how I feel about snow right now.
