I’d Eat That

You might have missed it, but this week I didn’t do a Wednesday post. I’ve actually been feeling a little stagnant in this space and have been thinking of some ways to switch stuff up, so I am taking a few beats before I implement a new series (hopefully two!) that will take the place of regularly scheduled Wednesday recipes! I am really excited and the idea actually came to me when I was washing my hair the other day (does this happen to you, too? I seem to get my best ideas when I’m in the shower). I’m going to keep hushed for now while I hammer out exactly how I want to implement this new thing but there will still be a recipe included.

Anyway! Thanks for sticking around and reading–however long you’ve been following, I appreciate each and every one of you. Truly! You guys are the best. Your comments and support give me life.

Anyway, let’s get to foods to daydream about!

Sticky Coke Wings–we’re kind of crazy for chicken wings (flats, plz), but never make them at home! These look delicious, I mean, that Coca-Cola glaze is giving me the heart eyes.

Veggie Spaghetti with Lentils and Mushrooms–we recently had a lentil bolognese that was delicious, this is reminding me that I need to make one myself ASAP.

Chickpea Shawarma Stuffed Pitas–this is exactly the kind of meatless meal that would be a hit in our house.

Gingerbread Corgis–SO STINKIN’ CUTE!!

Vanilla Coffee Martinis with Salted Cocoa Rims–I’m a sucker for a coffee-infused cocktail.

Geode Wedding Cake–it’s at the end of a v long post, but DAMN. So lovely.

Slow Cooker Carnitas Taco Bites–I’ll take carnitas any day. Seriously. These cute bites mean I can have a dozen, right?

Marbled Tahini Chocolate Cups–I’ve been seeing lots of sweet tahini things lately, and while I haven’t tried it, I’m convinced I need to get with it! Also, that marbled effect is one of my favorite things.

Passionfruit Curd Donuts–I mean, passionfruit filled, fried, dough pillows. YES, thnx.

Saffron Ice Cream–that color!!

Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Honey, Smoked Paprika, and Lime Yogurt–these look crazy delicious and I am positive my toddler would eat them. WIN.

Around here:

(Updated) Double Chocolate Pistachio Muffins–an older recipe updated to be simpler and better!

At Betty’s:

Turtle Stuffed Brownie Bites–so easy, so dangerous!

Unreal Stacked Rainbow Chip Blondies–so crazy, so awesome.

P.S. Yes to the shower ideas. I’m pretty sure 50% of my blog posts come from time in the shower (HAH)
