Not to be that person, even though I totally am, I didn’t realize the SuperBowl was this weekend. I knew it was soon, just didn’t know when! Needless to say, we aren’t watching it. We’re going to brunch and then the library (we hear Vancouver, WA has a great children’s wing at their main branch) and I’m hoping the game will mean less people at brunch in a city that is known for its long lines come the weekend. If I ever am at a football party, it’s for the snacks. Always and forever, snacks.
Cracklin’ Honey Chile Lime Baked Chicken Wings–even though I feel very apathetic about football, I give respect to any sport whose unofficial food is the chicken wing. I LOVE chicken wings (flats all the way, btw), and these sounds delicious!
The Italian Bramble–whoa. This is gorgeous and I love any drink with lots of crushed ice., it’s like a fancy snow cone.
No-Bake Peanut Butter Granola Bars–I am always having a moment with peanut butter and I am always looking for healthy snacks Casper and I can both enjoy. I’m also trying to carve out time to take care of myself this year, and Melissa’s thoughts on that are spot on.
Homemade Do-Si-Do’s–I always loved this cookie and was the only one in my house that did. That meant an entire box for me. WIN.
Boozy Boston Cream Brownies–I mean, what else is there to say.
Genmai Cream Soda–I love this toasted rice green tea and I imagine I’d love this soda. I used to live, like, 4 blocks from the restaurant that inspired this concoction and I’ve never been! I need to remedy that soon, until then…I need to make this soda.
Pretzel Dogs with Cheese Sauce–PRETZEL DOGS with CHEESE SAUCE.
Salty Chocolate Peanut Butter Hearts–More peanut butter, plz.
Dutch Oven Missippi Roast–I know this recipe is taking the internet by storm and I totally want to try it soon!
Crunchy Chicken Spring Rolls with Blood Orange Dipping Sauce–GIMME. I love Spring/Summer/Salad Rolls (what do you call them?).
Around here:
Brown Butter Banana Pudding— !!!
I don’t give a hoot about the Super Bowl and won’t be watching it either BUT I like all of the round ups I’m seeing on other blogs for it!! haha, so I guess there is an upside 🙂 Loving this round up too! And every one of these “I’d Eat That” segments, actually. Happy Friday! xo
Thanks for the shout out! 😀
Cindy, thank you SO MUCH for including my wings here! Hope you have some good family time this weekend!

I want to eat all of this, too! Thanks for including me! I went to my mother-in-law’s house over the weekend and she was telling me about a new recipe she wanted to try that was in the Detroit Free Press that’s called, MIssissippi Roast! It really is reaching a ton of people. But she hadn’t heard of Making a Murderer, so… 🙂
