I’d Eat That is a weekly feature where I share things I’d eat from around the internet, as well as things I’ve shared here and elsewhere.
Can you believe that peony up there is from my front yard?! My mom planted it (and two more) in my garden last year and it had yellow flowers. This year the buds were looking pink. I took a few cuttings because there were several buds and I could not help myself. This guy opened up yesterday morning and it’s yellow on the inside!! I’m only sort of obsessed with it and snapchatted about it 3 times, and maybe even ordered a print of it. Yes, I am a crazy flower lady.
Anyway, things I’d eat/drink/consume!
If you live on the internet, like me, then you know it was Cinco de Mayo this week. My friend Kate hosted #margaritaweek and these are just a few of the margaritas I wish were in front of me rn.
Rhubarb-Raspberry Margarita–with rhubarb-raspberry syrup and vanilla salt-sugar!!
Passionfruit Margarita Pie Parfaits–edible margaritas! Also, everything passionfruit is the best.
Frozen Peach, Mezcal, and Chambord Margaritas–UM, yes. Usually, I’m an “on-the-rock” gal, but I guess I’ll make an exception for these.
Hibiscus Ginger Palomas–hibiscus just makes things so gorgeous! Also, technically not a margarita, but actually my favorite tequila-based cocktail.
Pineapple Tequila Mint Julep Margarita–heaven! All of these flavors speak to me.
Other foods!
Pan Seared Chicken with Harissa Chickpeas–damn! I love a skillet dinner, I love harissa, and this looks incredible.
Anything Goes Breakfast Cheeseboard–I have a passion for cheeseboards, as in I love making them and then eating them, and this one looks amazing. Side note, I asked that we have an epic cheeseboard feast for Mother’s Day this weekend, I’ll be snapping about it I’m sure!
Pork Tinga–YES! I want this plus a half dozen tortillas in front of me right now.
Honey Cupcakes with Chamomile Buttercream–so lovely for Mother’s Day!
Pimento Cheese Chicken Salad–on Honey Butter Biscuits. Done.
In case you missed it:
Creamy Coconut Margaritas–I think the sweet-salty coconut rim makes these!
Cheater’s Spicy Miso Ramen–lunch in less than 10 minutes!
Over at Betty’s:
30-Minute Taco Stuffed Sub–a serious crowd pleaser!
Love this margarita filled version!! I’m feeling so inspired for the weekend!
Thanks for the mention!! I am definitely making one of your coconut margs this weekend. I’m also loving Sarah’s parfaits. Passionfruit anything really.
PS. Happy Mom’s Day!!! Hope you enjoy your special weekend 🙂
Frozen peach margarita? Yes, please!
