It’s Wednesday. It’s a Give Away!

February 23, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Good Wednesday dear friends!

CONTEST CLOSED

I’ve been holding onto this mini-mug and saucer for months now. I purchased it from Lavender Ridge, a quaint gift, garden shop, and event space here in Reno . They actually make lavender Bath, Body, and Home/Kitchen products on site…it smells like lavender heaven there!

Anyway, about  the GIVEAWAY! The mug only holds a few ounces of liquid, but it’s super cute and would be perfect for sipping espresso…if you’re into that sort of thing…or tiny sips of tea or cocoa.

To be eligible for the giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment at the end of this post about your favorite cold-weather beverage.

You can enter the giveaway TWICE if you TWEET about this giveaway @cindyishungry, and post a comment on this blog again (so I know about your tweet for sure).

The giveaway will end at Midnight (PST) on Saturday, February 26th.

I will announce the winner, using random.org, on Sunday!

My favourite is a Cafe Nico – It’s a mini latte made with half n half and infused with fresh vanilla, orange zest and dusted with cinnamon . . . mmmm. I’m going to have it with your meyer lemon pull apart bread once I find meyer lemons up in Canada.

My fav has to be homemade hot chocolate made with dark chocolate that has expresso in it. You can not taste the expresso, it just brings out the flavor of the chocolate and is amazing!!!!!

My favorite is Leite Queimado, a drink my mom used to make for us when we were little. It’s basiclly like this: first you melt the sugar, after its gold and all beautifull you pour the milk on top and wait untill it melts again. You can add cinammon to it as well, it ends up with a gold/brown color and super tasty!!

My favouriteS (yep – plural!) are a mug of hot mint chocolate topped with mini marshmallows, mug of hot dark chocholate topped with mini marshmallows, mug of ANY flavoured hot chocolate topped with mini marshmallows…you get the picture!
And in the absence of mini marshmallows (which shouldn’t really happen, one should always have a stash of it!) – a few squares of chocolate to nibble on or some biscuits/cookies on the side, will also do the job. :-)))

I just discovered your blog and I am OBSESSED!!! (and oh, by the way, that mug is super super cute!) favorite cold weather bev? probably mulled cider, although caribou coffee (the local coffee chain in WI, where my parents live) had a crazy-addictive holiday bev called a campfire mocha that I could seriously drink every day. it tasted like one giant molten s’more! yum.
