1. Even though it’s been an oddly warm week here in the Mitten, I’m dreaming of braised things like this stew from Katie At The Kitchen Door (points for the cutest blog name, too).
2. Megan made this Garlic Rosemary Bread. I would totes sleep on that pillow of yeasted, herby, garlic goodness.
3. This Lemon Cake with Cranberries + Lemon Icing just has me fast-forwarding through fall and straight into a winter wonderland. I’m a sucker for the holidays and I am smitten with the festive styling from Cooking Mélangery.
4. Now that I am growing my hair out, barrettes are blipping their way back onto my radar. I am IN LOVE with this crystal barrette DIY from P.S. I made this…
5. Lastly, Is Pinterest Killing Blogs (from Decor8)? I, personally, love Pinterest and don’t think it is (where would we pin from without blogs?!), but I am interested to know what other people think.
Hi Cindy! Thanks for the link love. I just read your “about” and had to share… my boyfriend of 5 years is also a civil engineer who does all the bread-baking and pasta-making (I do the spider killing). His name is Trevor though, so I’m not concerned that they’re the same person. Wishing you some chilly stew-making weather!
Thank YOU! Having a multi-skilled man around it a pretty nice perk 🙂
Now I really want that stew! Love that it’s served on mashed potatoes. There is nothing wrong with that!
Thanks also for the bread pillow looooooove. <3
ain’t nothin’ wrong with it. XO!
oooh i saw a cranberry crumble tart with a shortbread crust the other day and i got super duper excited for christmas!
yes! how could you not?!
I love rosemary in my bread. I tried making a loaf once, and used the wrong flour, and I ended up with a frisbee-shaped loaf of rosemary bread. (still ate it!)
Love love your shoes! I’m having trouble transitioning from sandals to real shoes. Not good, considering it’s in the 60’s outside…
Thanks Katie! It can be tough letting go of sandals…I recently bought a pair that will have to wait for next season!
