That sentiment, up there ^, that’s true (or handsome, you choose)! This Wednesday was the day the blogs exploded with all things PUMPKIN! I’ll share some of that, but there were other delicious things too. So, let’s get into it!
Homemade Candied Pecan Pumpkin Ice Cream Drumsticks–I’m kind of freaking out over these. They look incredible!!
Roasted Pumpkin Risotto with Crispy Proscuitto–I need more risotto in my life. Casper actually loves rice and this would be awesome to make for all of us.
Pumpkin Spice Japanese Cheesecake–I’m fascinated with Japanese cheesecake after seeing this video. It looks like a dream!
Dulce de Leche Pumpkin Affogato–I love affogato…and dulce de leche and pumpkin ice cream, for that matter.
Pumpkin Challah–as if challah couldn’t be better. I bet this would make killer french toast.
Brown Butter Orange Madeleines–I attempted madeleines once, years ago, and havent tried again. These have convinced me to give it another shot!
Roasted Butternut Squash Hummus–anything with pomegranate arils, plz. Also, I kind of have a thing for homemade hummus.
Thai Spiced Butternut Squash Soup–YES. I love a sweet, spicy, savory combo.
Naked Hibiscus Chocolate Cake–Michelle made her first naked cake! And it has a perfect, natural, pink frosting.
Orange Scented Roasted Chicken Stuffed with Olive Prunes and Walnuts–I don’t know if I’ve seen a more tempting and gorgeous chicken dinner.
Pumpkin Flatbread with Gruyere and Fried Sage–first, all the cheese, second, fried sage, and thrid (not to be msissed) roasted pumpkin! Also, gluten-free to boot!
Cinnamon Roll Buttermilk Biscuits–does anyone remember those “flaky layers” canned biscuits that came in cinnamon sugar from like a million years ago? Loved those. These are like the better, homemade version!
And, in case you missed it, junk from around here this week:
Goat Cheese with Cherry Onion Compote
Happy Friday-ing!
