I’d Eat That is a weekly feature where I share things I’d eat from around the internet, as well as things I’ve shared here and elsewhere.
Hey! I’ve missed you guys this week, I posted these Brown Butter Madeleines with Smashed Raspberry Créme Fraîche (which I’d like to slather atop every baked good in sight) and then checked out for #lovelyladylunch because I just could not make it happen. It’s been the sort of week where I’ve gotten in my own way (ahem, cake disasters and forgetting to charge my camera battery like a dope) or just simply let it go so I could hang out in the backyard sunshine. There were also two no-nap instances with Casper. Up until now I’ve been lucky and he always takes a nap, but this week the tide has turned and guys, I’m scared. I hope this isn’t a new trend. Anywho (what? who am I?), tonight we have dinner plans with our friend and her new babe and tomorrow Sean’s going to smoke some ribs and bottle some beer he brewed with a friend–spoiler alert, I’m in it for the RIBS.
Kentucky Buck—thanks to Todd, I now know that those ginger beer+citrus+booze concoctions I like so much are technically called a “buck”. In this case, bourbon…thus the Kentucky part. Also, I want two of these to appear in front of me right meow.
Giant Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie—is there anything better?
Mint Mojito Pour-Over Coffee—I’ve heard about this drink from Philz before and I just want to try it so badly! Now I can!
Cream Cheese Red Velvet Ice Cream—INSANE.
Raspberry Elderflower Granita—so gorgeous! This looks so refreshing for summer.
Salted Butter Blueberry Apricot Cornmeal Cake—another perfect summer dessert!
Grilled Chicken Souvlaki Greek Salad–giant, loaded salads and Greek flavors are some of my favorite things!
Shrimp Salsa Bruschettas—these look like the perfect summer cocktail bite!
Black Bean, Radish, Corn Salad with Cotija and Lime Cilantro Dressing—this looks like the perfect salad for taco night!
Roasted Tomatoes with Garlic Pesto Crostini—I’m all about snack-dinner on the weekends, lately. This would be perfect with a big ball of burrata on the side!
Confetti Cookies–these make me smile.
Cheers! and Happy weekend!
