I’d Eat That

November 13, 2015 by Leave a Comment

This weekend we’re having a family photo session. I’m kind of dreading it because I hate having my photo taken, but I know I’ll regret not having a record. So, I’mma get over myself…I guess! I still need to figure out what to wear (for myself and for Casper), but I did treat myself to these cute booties I’ve been eyeing for the occasion. So, there’s that.

Next week I have plans to post pie things here, so get ready for that! Just in time for Thanksgiving. There will be booze involved, just an FYI.

But, let’s talk about internet foods!

Swedish Cardamom Buns–dat braid!

Grilled Cheese with Sage and Cranberry-Apple Chutney–I have lots of feelings about melty cheese on toasty bread with something sweet. All of those feelings are love.

Coconut Sugar Classic Pumpkin Pie–I don’t always love pumpkin pie, but these perfect slices are giving me googly eyes.

Gudetama Cupcakes–OMG! Look at that weird little egg man! I am dying, too much cute.

Pumpkin Roll–this pumpkin roll is perfection.

Warm Caramelized Fennel and Leek Cheese Dip–I love fennel, especially caramelized. Also, cheese.

Vegetarian Chipotle Bowls–Chipotle has been closed here in the PNW due to some reported illnesses. So, in the meantime, these look like the solution!

Mini Beef Wellingtons–SO CUTE! and somehow hearty.

Mascarpone Mashed Potatoes with Sage Browned Butter–YES.

In case you missed them:

Braided Cinnamon Swirl and White Chocolate Pumpkin Bread

Orange Ginger Cream Cheese Muffins

This week, last year:

Pumpkin, Leek, and Pecan Bread with Spicy Honey

Oh yeah, I don’t like having my picture taken either. But then I’m always happy to have them once it’s done with. Can’t wait to see the pies you’ve come up with. I’m pretty excited that booze in involved! Have a great weekend and thanks for the mashed potato love!

I didn’t notice the plate from the last post, but OMG, how cute is that?? The pictures remind me a bit of the etchings on those ancient Greek vases!
