I mentioned on Monday that I’m trying to practice restraint regarding my crazy-holiday-personhood. Well, I have plans to peruse the wrapping paper aisle and then some at Target (and possibly beyond) this weekend. So, there that goes. I need to think about my wrapping paper game, though! Because, seriously, I live to wrap gifts (#weirdo). I like to coordinate colors and patterns and I am all about the adding cute jingly bits–my glue gun and I are good friends during the holidays. Anyway, my point: I need to think of my game plan in advance because I will certainly change my mind at least a dozen times.
Side note: that number up there, is a dead-easy trifle that will be on Betty Crocker in the near future. I’m excited about it! Also, I’m still thinking of fall time though and have a yeasty, pumpkin bread things happening here next week.
Anyway, things for our eyes and bellies!
Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Grapes and Walnuts–I love everything in this recipe. Have you had roasted grapes before? DO IT!
One Pan Chicken with Potatoes, Wine, and Olives–I am totally making this for dinner tonight! For real, I am. I’ll try to snap it on the Snapchats.
Shaved Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, and Kale Salad with Parmesan Dressing–I mean, PARMESAN DRESSING.
Sanguine Sangria with Apple and Pomegranate–Yes, this. Cheers!
No-Churn Monster Cereal Milk Ice Cream–Amy’s enthusiasm for nostalgic sugar cereal seriously makes me smile. Also, that ice cream has a marshmallow cream ripple!
Brown Butter Roasted Acorn Squash with Pomegranate, Hazelnuts, and Squash Seeds–Yes, to all of this!
Hazelnut Cookies with Chocolate Drizzle–I love hazelnuts and cookies always, thanks.
Pickled Giardiniera–Gimme all the pickles.
